He brings more than a decade of experience in portrait, editorial and commercial photography, including work for fashion and lifestyle publications. Decide what each setting contributes
A studio offers control over light and background. A workplace or another relevant LA location can add context. Choose settings because they feel relevant to you and give the photographs useful context.
Consider how you move through the setting, which outfits feel like you and how much surroundings should appear. A close portrait keeps attention on expression; a wider frame can include posture, clothing and place. Actor casting photographs have a separate brief; compare actor headshots if that is the main use.
Bring examples of the pages, publications or campaigns you are preparing. Note where you need a close portrait, a full or seated frame, a horizontal composition or space around the subject. The photographer can then plan a manageable sequence around your package’s time, locations and outfit changes.
Prepare a practical shot list

How is a brand shoot different from headshots?
A headshot session focuses on portraits. A brand shoot can include a wider range of compositions, locations and supporting images for several communication needs. Choose the format according to the images you will actually use.
Is hair and makeup included?
The current Essentials package lists a beauty team available by request. Signature and Editorial Production include a beauty team. Confirm the preparation arrangements and any Essentials add-on scope when planning your shoot.
Can we use more than one location?
The package cards list the available studio/location combinations. Share your proposed locations and priorities before confirming, so travel, access and the shooting sequence can be assessed within the agreed scope.
What rights are included?
The published brand packages include full commercial usage rights. Tell us about any unusual licensing or third-party requirements in the brief so they can be addressed before the shoot.
When should I mention a launch deadline?
Include it in your first inquiry. Confirm the selection process and delivery schedule with the studio before setting a launch date.
