Your company biography may need a tighter crop than your website. A speaker announcement may call for a different expression from a press portrait. Before the session, tell us where the files will appear and share any layout or background requirements.

Direction while you are in front of the camera
You do not need to arrive knowing how to pose. We guide posture, shoulders, chin and expression, then make small adjustments as we shoot. Tell us if there is a side, expression or crop you prefer; an older photograph you like can be a useful reference.
Bring clothes that fit well and suit the context where your image will appear. A jacket can be useful for a formal biography, while a simpler layer may work for a more relaxed website. The number of outfits and background options depends on your package. Select the images that do different jobs
Review your selects for expression and practical use, not just small differences between nearly identical frames. A strong set might give you a primary portrait plus a second mood or wardrobe option. Natural retouching should keep your features and skin texture recognizable.

Professional headshot questions
Which package should I choose?
Quick provides two retouched headshots from a 30-minute studio session. Standard adds time, wardrobe/background flexibility and four retouched images. Plus allows a two-hour studio or on-location session with eight retouched images. Choose according to the distinct images you need, not simply the largest number of files.
Can we photograph at my office?
The published Plus package allows an on-location session. Share the address, available space and the look you need so we can confirm the arrangements. Quick and Standard are studio sessions.
How is this different from a LinkedIn session?
The current LinkedIn and professional packages share the same Quick, Standard and Plus prices and session scopes. The LinkedIn page focuses on choosing a photograph for profile use; this page explains portraits for biographies, websites, speaking and press.
When will I receive the photographs?
Tell us your deadline when you inquire. We’ll confirm the selection and final-delivery schedule with your session details. The published package includes a private online gallery for one month.
