Format comparison

  • Studio-style setup: controlled light, clean background, best for individuals, actors, and executives needing press-ready frames
  • Office setup: we come to your space — best for corporate and team rollouts where commuting twelve people to a studio isn't practical
  • Outdoor / on-location: editorial frames with environmental context — founders, personal branding, leadership portraits with a sense of place
  • Remote: live-directed sessions on video for distributed employees — see remote headshots

The studio-style experience

Controlled light, neutral or warm backdrops, privacy, and fast setup. The studio setup is built around your session rather than around a public retail space — we don't operate a public walk-in studio. Best for individuals, actor headshots, and executive portraits that need the strongest, cleanest, most press-ready frames.

Office setup for teams

We bring portable lighting, backdrop options, and the full kit. A private room with roughly twelve feet of depth, one outlet, and a quiet corridor is enough. Best for corporate headshot rollouts and team headshot days — coming to your space saves the per-employee commute on both sides and makes a half-day shoot realistic.

How a session runs

Direction across every step — planning, shooting, selecting, retouching, and delivery — so you aren't guessing what to do with your hands at any point and the final files match how the images will actually be used.

  1. Plan

Confirm look, format, and timing; share use cases so the shoot maps to real channels.

  2. Shoot

Guided session with live direction across wardrobe changes and look adjustments.

  3. Select

Review proofs in your private gallery and choose your retouched finals.

  4. Retouch

Natural retouching that keeps real skin texture and recognizable features.

  5. Deliver

Final files with unlimited usage rights across every channel you publish in.

LA service areas

We work across the LA area, including DTLA and the Arts District, Hollywood, West Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Century City, Santa Monica, Culver City, Pasadena, Burbank, Studio City, Silver Lake, and Los Feliz. We pick the right neighborhood around the session rather than around a fixed address.

How to choose by use case

  • Actor: studio-style for commercial and theatrical separation
  • Executive: studio-style plus one location or office frame for press
  • Team: office setup with scheduled blocks
  • Personal branding: mix of studio, workspace, and outdoor
  • LinkedIn: studio-style for the cleanest profile crop
  • Corporate: office setup for a shared company visual standard

Logistics checklist

  • Parking near the venue
  • Room size — at least 12 ft × 8–10 ft for studio-style
  • Power — one outlet within reach of the setup
  • Weather plan for outdoor frames
  • Permits where the location requires them
  • Timing block matched to the team-size path

Common questions

Should I choose studio or location?

Studio for the most controlled light, the cleanest background, and the strongest authority — best for actors, executives, and individuals who need press-ready frames. Office for corporate and team rollouts where coming to a single venue isn't practical. On-location for personal branding, founder portraits with industry context, and editorial use. Many sessions mix two — a controlled setup plus one location frame — and we plan that during the inquiry call.

Do you travel to offices for team shoots?

Yes — office setup is the default for corporate and team sessions. We bring portable lighting, backdrop options, and the full kit; we ask for a private room with a few feet of depth, an outlet, and a quiet corridor for the queue. We confirm the room walk-through and the schedule after inquiry. Travel within the LA area is included; longer drives or off-LA travel are quoted after inquiry.

Which LA areas do you serve?

We work across the LA area — DTLA, the Arts District, Hollywood, West Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Century City, Santa Monica, Culver City, Pasadena, Burbank, Studio City, Silver Lake, Los Feliz, and nearby neighborhoods. We don't operate a public walk-in studio; the studio-style setup is built around your session, not around a fixed address. Confirm your preferred area on the form and we'll recommend the cleanest fit.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Outdoor frames are checked against the forecast a day or two ahead. If the weather isn't workable, we move the outdoor portion to a controlled studio-style or office setup, or we reschedule that portion only — your full session isn't lost. The plan is always built with a Plan B; we discuss the contingency during the inquiry so there are no surprises on the day.

Can you match the visual standard across studio, office, and outdoor frames?

Yes — that's the point of running the formats through one production system. Lighting is calibrated, the same backdrop or environment treatment is applied across blocks, the color profile is held across the gallery, and the retouching style is consistent. The session reads as one coordinated visual standard rather than a mix of frames from three different shoots stitched together.

Do you have a public studio address?

No public walk-in studio at this time. We work studio-style at session venues we confirm during planning, and we do not advertise a public street address. This is intentional — it keeps the visual standard with us regardless of the venue and avoids the operational baggage of a public retail location. Sessions are confirmed by location after inquiry.
